LIFE ELECTRIC VEHICLES (LIFE EV) warrants this product, including all individual components against defects in material or workmanship as follows:

LIFE EV FRAME WARRANTY

LIFE EV bicycle frames are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for 1 year for the original owner. If the bicycle is sold and/or ownership transferred, only the frame warranty will remain in effect and will follow any remainder of LIFE EV’S 1 year component warranty.

LIFE EV LIMITED 1 YEAR COMPONENTS WARRANTY

LIFE EV’S bicycle components including forks, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, brakes, cables, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, chain, rims, spokes, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, kickstand and hardware are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for a 1 year period from the date of original purchase. Electronic components such as controllers, batteries, motors, and chargers may need to be returned to LIFE EV for testing prior to repair or replacement. Wear and tear is not covered under warranty. SRAM warrants their component parts directly. LIFE EV is not authorized to replace or repair SRAM parts. SRAM can be contacted directly at www.sram.com.

LIFE EV LIMITED 1 YEAR BATTERY WARRANTY

LIFE EV’S batteries are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for a 1 year period from the date of original purchase. The battery warranty does not include damage from power surges, use of improper charger, improper maintenance, improper voltage drain or other such misuse such as failure to recharge the battery, normal wear or water damage.

LIFE EV LIMITED 30 DAY FULL REPLACEMENT WARRANTY

If within the first 30 days of purchase, LIFE EV, at their sole option and expense, will repair or replace any defective LIFE EV bicycle upon determining whether the damage, failure, or loss is due to a major defect. LIFE EV or your LIFE EV dealer or distributor will have sole discretion to determine whether the damage, failure or loss is due to a major defect or otherwise.

Warranty claims must be made by the original purchaser by contacting LIFE EV Customer Service Center at 800-897-1195 within the 30 day warranty period.

TERMS OF WARRANTY

This warranty only applies to the original registered owner of a LIFE EV bicycle. This warranty does not apply to rental LIFE EV or commercial use bicycles. This warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of LIFE EV. This warranty does not cover any damage or defects resulting from failure to follow instructions in the owner’s manual, acts of God, accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, operator error, water damage, stunt riding or improper follow-up maintenance. This warranty does not include normal wear and tear parts (tires, tubes, brake pads and cables, grips, saddle). This warranty does not cover maintenance, including adjustments that may be needed upon delivery. This warranty does not include accessories. LIFE EV will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts. In no event shall LIFE EV be responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential damages, including without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, or product liability in connection with their products. All work performed by an entity other than Life EV, must be pre-authorized by Life EV in order to receive warranty coverage.

WARRANTY REMEDY

If your LIFE EV electric bicycle is not working properly because of a defect, you may return it to the place of purchase or any authorized LIFE EV dealer for inspection. You may direct your warranty questions to an authorized LIFE EV dealer or LIFE EV Customer Service at 800-897-1195. Parts which are verified by LIFE EV to be defective and qualify for warranty replacement will be provided after your warranty claim is processed. All shipping costs and labor for the warranted defective part to LIFE EV are the responsibility of the owner. Prior to any warranty replacement, your bicycle must be registered with LIFE EV on our website or by mailing in the warranty registration card. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice is required.

This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy and is in lieu of all other remedies, including consequential and incidental damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion of limitation of consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights that may vary from state to state.

SHIPPING TERMS

Shipping is covered for defective part claims for 30 days from purchase date for customers in the Continental USA. International customers and customers outside of the Continental USA will be subject to all shipping fees, duties and taxes, regardless of location of initial purchase or purchase date. After 30 days of ownership all shipping charges and all labor costs are the responsibility of all bicycle owners regardless of location, and for shipping components to and from LIFE EV or an authorized LIFE EV dealer.

Notice: This warranty may be updated without prior notice. Life EV reserves the right update this warranty at our sole discretion at any time.
