WWAR Annual Fundraising Gala
Deerfield Beach, FL- May 24, 2021
Two e-bikes were donated by Life Electric Vehicles, Inc. (LEV) for this years Wounded Warriors Ability Ranch annual fundraising gala. The gala was held on May 22nd, at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater, Florida. The e-bikes helped raise $114,000 towards purchasing adaptive sports equipment for the Ranch located in Pinellas Park, Florida. Dozens of participants at the gala pitched in to raise money towards purchasing adaptive sports equipment for the Ranch, with one donor stepping in and matching that amount. One of the e-bikes donated by LEV is a custom recumbent 3-wheel e-bike designed by James Aversa, a founding partner of LEV. The 3-wheeler features a 1,000-watt, 48-volt, 24 mph electric motor. The 3-wheeler can be operated using the hands only to steer, throttle, and brake. James became aware of the fundraising event through Patrick Coffey, of Bio Coatings in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The 3-wheeler was custom painted by Bio Coatings in a color inspired by the orange used in Wounded Warriors logo. LEV also donated a Genesis R400 model for the auction.
With an eye for detail, and a fierce commitment to integrity, quality, and patriotism; LEV e-Bikes are carefully constructed and inspected in the USA. Unlike many competitors, LEV does not rely on overseas manufacturers to build their e-Bikes. All LEV electric bicycles are built at the company’s state-of the-art, 60,000 square-foot production headquarters in South Florida.
LEV proudly supports the Wounded Warriors Ability Ranch and our Veterans.
